RSL Care is one of Australia’s largest providers of retirement living, community and aged care services. It has more than 28 communities throughout Queensland and New South Wales. RSL Care cares for thousands of residential, retirement and community care clients.
RSL Care has undertaken accelerated growth and considerable change. As part of this process RSL Care recognized the need to implement Business Intelligence applications to help with managerial decision making and business analysis.

The initial data warehouse iteration included the Payroll and Human resources business areas. The effort included gathering requirements, developing the Data Warehouse and ETL using Dimodelo Data Warehouse Studio, creating a cube with several complex measures, implementing the ETL workflow and deploying to a Production environment. Dimodelo Solutions mentored RSL Care through the development process providing hands on training.
RSL Care continue to extend their data warehouse using the agile methodology. The data warehouse has been extended to cover Community Care, with other areas in progress.
Dimodelo Solutions continues to work with RSL Care as a valued partner, extending the solution to cover other key areas such as Finance, Residential and Retirement living.
